Just me, from the plan to the last stop.

I take one group a day. I write the plan myself, I am the one standing in your hotel lobby in the morning, and I stay with you until the day ends. Nobody is handed to a stranger.

Founder and guide

Born in Osaka, then nine years in America, then back here again. That is where the English comes from. It also means I know which parts of this city need explaining to a visitor and which ones speak for themselves.

A few hundred people have walked around Osaka with me by now. What I am best at is food. If you want the places you have seen on Instagram, we will go to them. If you would rather eat where I actually eat, I know the small ones two streets behind, where the menu is usually only in Japanese.

Eating, drinking and a long evening is my idea of a good day. If it is yours too, we will get on.

Osaka is home, so Osaka is what I know street by street. Kyoto, Nara and Kobe are close enough to reach inside a day, and I am happy to build one of those around you. If you want somewhere further, ask me anyway and I will tell you honestly whether I am the right person for it.
